Pricing Policy

1. Pricing Structure

Ferqon Server is offered in three license tiers:

The Free tier is $0 and available only to logged-in users, limited to one Free license per user. Pro and Premium prices are in USD and represent one-time payments. No subscriptions. All tiers support unlimited device joins — connect as many hardware devices as you need.

1.1 Beta Pricing

While Ferqon is in beta, paid tiers (Pro and Premium) are offered at a 40% discount off the regular list price as an early-access perk. The Free tier is always $0. The discounted price you pay at checkout is locked in for the lifetime of your license — it does not change when the beta period ends. Beta pricing ends when Ferqon ships v1.0; after that, new purchases will be charged at the regular list price. Existing beta-period license holders retain their original terms.

2. Currency

All transactions are processed in US Dollars (USD). For international customers, your payment provider will handle currency conversion at their current exchange rate.

3. Taxes

Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST will be added based on your location. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing address.

4. Payment Methods

• Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely via Stripe

5. License Duration and Update Window

Paid Ferqon licenses (Pro and Premium) are one-time purchases — you own the product. The Free tier is granted at no cost to logged-in users (one per user). Each tier includes a free update window during which you receive new releases:

• Free: 1 year of free updates from claim
• Pro: 2 years of free updates from purchase
• Premium: 3 years of free updates from purchase

After your update window expires, you may continue using Ferqon indefinitely at your last downloaded version. An optional paid update extension restores access to new releases.

6. Upgrade Path

When upgrading from Free to a paid tier, you pay the full price of the paid tier. When upgrading between paid tiers, you only pay the difference:

• Free → Pro: $290.00 (full Pro price)
• Free → Premium: $790.00 (full Premium price)
• Pro → Premium: $500.00 ($790.00 - $290.00)

7. Changes to Policy

Prices may change with 30 days notice. Existing license holders are not affected by price changes.

8. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. In jurisdictions where consumer protection laws provide additional rights, those laws take precedence.
